Justin Gorman
Head of Entertainment
Justin Gorman joined the Channel from Objective Productions in January 2010, and reports to Julian Bellamy, Head of Channel 4.
The entertainment team oversees and commissions the entire entertainment output of Channel 4 and E4. Since joining the Channel, Gorman’s commissions have included: The Channel 4 Comedy Gala, which brought together a star-studded line up of the best comedians in the business, for an ambitious live gig at London’s 02 Arena; The Million Pound Drop Live, Channel 4’s big money, jeopardy game show, in which viewers could watch on air, and, in a ground-breaking first, also play along online. Gorman’s further credits include the Comedy Roasts, in which a host of comedians and celebrities paid fond - and irreverent - tribute to Bruce Forsyth, Sharon Osbourne and Chris Tarrant, in a Channel 4 twist on the classic American format.
Prior to joining Channel 4, Gorman worked in the independent production sector – His credits include Executive Producer for The Cube, Derren Brown – The Events (including How to Win the Lottery) and The Real Hustle as well as Series Producer for RISE and Model Behaviour.
Gorman began his television career as a researcher at independent producer Action Time and has worked for Granada, Hat Trick and Princess Productions on shows including Blind Date, Popstars, Back to Reality.
